April 30. 2012
Dear Students and Parents,
The musical was wonderful. I pray everyone enjoyed it.
We are starting May this week. We have field trips and special events. We will go to the Swope Antique Car Museum this Thursday at 10:00. I will be sending a permission slip home. Please look for it. Also I really need drivers to help with transportation. We will also be going to Louisville for Field Day. We always have lots of fun there. We are looking for drivers for that also. On May 15 I have set up a field trip to the Field History Museum in Louisville. Please set that day aside also. Once again I will need drivers.
This week in religion we will continue our study of the Ten Commandments. God uses these commandments to show us our need for a Savior. We cannot get to Heaven on our own. God sent us Jesus to be our Redeemer. We will talk about honoring God with our words and coveting.
Grade 2 and 3: The Eighth commandment: You will not give false testimony against your neighbor.
